HAHA sorry for last time

I didn't realize how lmae last week was until I read it again, well let me tell you something this week was sick!!! We had a great new person join the church. My companion had the honor to baptize them in the ocean!!! It made for some of the most legendary pictures I have. It was sick!!!
My companions ankles are coming around! he hurt them both pretty bad and we used a wheel chair for a few days event hough he could stand there was no way to properly move around using his legs. We got some wierd looks when he would randomly stand up hahaha HE is doing great though no worries!!
We had a fun service project where we lifted rocks for a couple hours! and then helped our ward mission leader lay some flooring preparation, haha that was fun!!!
Also My farewell is April 15th, in my chapel. If you have a desire to go email me and I will give you my details.... love you!!

Old Mcdonald

Old Mcdonald had a farm e i e i o and on that farm he had 4 missionaries digging out flowers to put in the mud e i e i o

We had a pretty fun saturday morning, we met with our members and drove out into xinpu and helped a small community with polluted water plant some special flowers that naturally purify the water. It was super fun!!

We also saw some cool miracles this week as we have been working with quite a few people trying to help them really develop faith and work for baptism. We have 2 people we have been working with for a while, they finally came to church!!! there is one other investigator who everyone in the ward and the stake president think they are the best person ever! she is a funny lady!!!!!

Aimlessly strolling for a long time

Well we have had a very eventful week. For starters our whole week looked about like last night, we had an awesome plan we were gonna go get some hard work done!!! But then as we stopped to video teach one of our investigators, my companion looks at his back tire.... 100% flat. Sunday night the closest bike store is a half mile away and we can't fix it anyway because its sunday. We were also a 20 or so minute bike from our home... And we had a member calls us that wanted to feed us that night. another 20 minute bike into the area away from home. So we stopped our bikes at the shop i helped my companion "ghost" his bike there and he ran... hahaha rough time. Then we proceeded our stroll for over an hour to find their house, which i had been to once before, and they didn't answer our calls nor did they give us an address. SO we covered about a .5 x 3 mile chunk of land, we showed up 40 minutes late and they nearly laughed us to death and cried, and then just said its a good thing its fast sunday now you can eat even more! luckily on the way home they drove us to our bikes which cut us down from an hour walk to a 10 minute drive that was nice!!!! Then we loaded his bike into their van and i put him on the back of my bike home and we road home. all in all a great sunday!!! And a great story to tell all of you!

We had an awesome new change as well! when i first arrived on island we were allowed to teach anyone we found. Well a couple months later it was changed that elders can only teach men and sisters only women. Well they just changed it to a variation. IF you have sisters in your area the rule remains if not, you are again able to teach everyone!!!!!!! YAY!

life is pretty great!!!! we also had a fun experience we had to get to a projector but our ladder was too long to fit on the stage and so we had 6 elders hold it while someone climbed up it... we ARE the brightest chickens in the coop

sauce me

shout out to Elder Bates for being a 工具 and teaching me all the words i have never learned. This week has been pretty awesome actually! So the beginning of our fun week. Transfers rolled in! And now we are beginning the last transfer. I received a new companion! His name is Elder Endicott! HE is from Sandy, Utah! HE comes from a great family, and is part poly! He is a good looking guy!! And he is a hard working Elder. He just finished training so I am his "breaker".

Elder Vincent was sent to Hualian, land of promise and beauty!! We are gonna miss him! I love that guy!!! We began the final transfer pretty well, we said good bye to all of the investigators and members Monday through Thursday, then Thursday through Sundaywas pretty blank. But Sunday is pretty awesome!!! we biked out to a place called xinpu, which is really awesome!! Missionaries hadn't been there in quite a while. Its a little more traditional and its small but it was really fun!!!

Rising Storm

Well last pday of the transfer and the sad fact that my companion has already been here for 4. I will probably be picking up a new comp this week! But this week was CHINESE NEW YEAR, and it has been a blessed time. The last couple days Our members have been giving us 2 meals day everyday. I had 4 meals of steak in a row. It was delicious and very very heavy. My companion woke up this morning looks at me and says, "i just want to be hungry again" hahaha this is a great time in taiwan!!

We still saw some really cool miracles. Because during the new year, the tradition is everything closes and everyone goes home. So Literally anyone left here is not from here, and will be returning home after. Also The amount of people left around is soooo few. It turns to a ghost town for a few days its crazy. So the members give us things to eat, and give us things to do.

SHAKIN

pretty fun! WE have had some good earthquakes on the east coast. However on the west coast we got a few good rollers. So the east coast took a good hit! Everyone was having a good time! the missionaries there are all safe! It happened a couple nights in a row about the same time! They start and kind of feell like your about to throw up and then after a second you just realize your whole building is moving. And we live pretty high up. It is pretty fun!

We had our main man Howard get baptized! He has been working on it for almost a year now, But we just gave him the time, and he came to the desire to do it! And then it was simple! We had to review everything with him, but it was pretty awesome!!

We saw some crazy miracles this week! We decided after receiving a good training about baptismal dates, we went and invited a ton of people and Heavenly Father blessed us accordingly. It has been incredible! We have seen a ton of miracles.

We brought the american tradition of ice cream after a church meeting! aw yeah

oreos are buy one get on free sale!!

RAIN AND COLD

Well it has been rainy and cold. for a straight week now and the wind is very constant. It has put a real damper and the work. However we saw some super sick miracles this week. As we were strolling home from the land of 六家 we ran into a family of 5 people that were really awesome! after a little contact with them they told us to come by and visit their brunch shop. We are excited about that one!!! We have been teachng some super awesome people lately, we have an interview for one today!!! So he could use some prayers. HE will be ready though!!!

For the record last winter was either not nearly this bad, or the east coast is legit warmer than the rest of taiwan. My hands and feet aren't warm unless I am in my blankets or just out of the shower. However it has been a ton f fun. We live with four elders and we do a good job at keeping high spirits!!  we had a sunday feast that was a little bit ridiculous. And not very healthy but really fun!!

love yall

let the games begin

man this week has been pretty good!!! So we have seen a ton of miracles! When Elder Vincent and I started out, we wanted to find some prepared people. We made a goal to find one person everyday no matter what. Just one person that was willing to learn the message of the restoration of the gospel. And it has provided us many friends and people to teach. We have been blessed greatly by the hand of the Lord. Which has been truly fun! The members are really warming up and we are having so much fun with them!

We have a really fun apartment and district too! Our whole district has been up and going this transfer putting down the work. And loving everything they are doing! It has been fun to see! I have seen a ton of them grow so much! We have 5 missionaries still well below their year mark but they have been so impressive! It has been so awesome to see! I have loved being around them!

Something I have not enjoyed, I have started to finish up college applications. Which it is hard to do. I don't know anything anymore! I have been doing a few essays and I realized, man i need to school up again! It is pretty funny actually. Also my spelling ever since learning Chinese has become the same level as a first grader. It is pretty embarrassing.

pretty solid week.

In the Beginning

Alright this week was pretty much straight fire! We ran into to some really fun things and some really not so fun things, but pretty much Elder Vincent and I had a ton of fun proselyting this week! So we started by having a great P-day we ate a ton of food, messed around played some sports and stuff.

We met some super cool people and have set some super good goals to help us be improving the area. Get it to somewhere that every missionary wants. We have seen some super cool miracles as we have just been aiming for the goals we prayerfully set. Heavenly Father has been backing us up and helping us hit them. We met some really fun people Like the addidas store owner that thinks we are super rough working all the time and biking around. So he said if we ever need anything he will give us better sales! That was kinda super nice. My shoes have eben ruined with large whole in them for about 3 months now... hahaha But then again i gotta get some that work pretty well.

I think i should tell all of you. You are all awesome. If you make it to this part of the email shout out to you for actually reading. I will be straight with anyone that makes it to reading this part. I have been out of things to say. Aside from I love my companion, i love my area, i love the people, and the members. I love my mission. I love my god. I love all things.

We started teaching a golden grandma! She is awesome we are gonna have to pass her off to other missionaries. but she is so fun! She is so cool! She started crying while she was given a chapel tour. And said she could feel the spirit with out us ever telling her the word. She literally just said holy spirit. I almost filled up the font right there.... hahahah just kidding.

Retired!!!!

I am now moved into 竹北 ZHUBEI!!!!!! It is so awesome!!! Iwill miss Elder Walters and the 信安 ward and the english ward. But my new companion is awesome his name is Elder Vincent from California!!! He is so cool! so he played tennis competitively for BYU and he is one of the best young missionaries i have seen! He is really dedicated to having the time and the energy to succeed! It has been a good couple of days! So we have already visited one of the RC and trying to get the dad to be into now. And i met the other RC at church. We have an awesome ward with a lot of families! Which is amazing!!!

I moved into a really nice house. Iam in the Zhubei 3 ward. which is on the west coast of taiwan. Ican see the ocean from my house. Ilive in a beautiful building and a great location. Really close to the train station, and the chapel. We have a massive and gorgeous chapel here. Which is where i am emailing you from today!!!

Anyway i am back out of Taibei to have the last two transfers in somewhere a little less city. But to be honest it is still a really big city here its just a little more spread out with a few less people walking around. Its really nice actually nice and quiet!! We have been back on our bikes quite a bit more than i was in my last area. So it is nice to be out and going again!

Last part is i just want to say that prayer is powerful. Ihave been improving my prayers little by little. And really been going at it with real intent! And it feels so good! We have been really trying to always rely on the spirit and seek its guidance! We have really growing into companions quickly! We  have been working really hard! ANd it is fun! We are seeing some really good success come out of it!

I love all of you!!!

Great Week

Well this week has been super good! I have had a super fun time. I will tell you this i am getting very tired the last couple of days, however we had a ton of miracles this week. After some of all the crazy activities that our ward and the mission were holding to celebrate christmas We finally got to focus alot more on our area.AND after all was done we saw some cool miracles come from the activites we ended up with a ton of people to teach this week. Which was way fun!

We have been working on 2 people in particular that are really close. I have been working with them almost the entire time i have been in this area. And they both could literally be baptized tomorrow. But they have ran into some concerns and challenges along the way. But they are doing great. One is just having a hard time believing in himself, but the other one is having a hard time believing that Christ truly has atoned for all sins and challenges. But they have grown so much in the last 4 or so months!!

This week i am looking forward to the coming days a ton of stuff is about to happen and i am going to have a ton of fun with it!!! and I think everyone else is going to love it too!!!!

I saw my old comps mom!!

NEW YEARS來了

What an insane thing! so first off! what it's 2018.... crazy! I'm not sure what to even think! it's literally insane! I don't know what to think! But to be honest we were talking with our good friends I have 3 elders nearby that are 6 weeks younger than I am, so we were in the MTC together and we just talked about how we all measure time in 6 week periods now because of the mission. so it's like we still have a week or so before we can set new goals and change things up hahaha strange! but cool!

Also this week was cool Josie (林冠媖) got baptized which is sweet! we found her near my first nights here! that's so awesome to see her change! she has really come to love the gospel. Someone brought a friend to church and she just started contacting them and teaching them about the book of mormon. But literally did it better than us missionaries!

also 101 is a very cool sight to see on new years.... it's pretty legit! But the coolest thing is we went over nearby and we made a "NEW YEARS resolution" booth and used the BOM as a way to help them meet their goals and see more success we saw a lot of cool miracles. The sisters in our ward literally stopped someone that took them to their house right then and they had a lesson with them! so cool!
